Why property investors are flocking away from Victoria?

  1. Land tax is getting ridiculously high for investors
  2. Poor rental yield (Low rental income comparing to house prices)
  3. Government policies that are anti-investor
  4. Very low land tax threshold
  5. Higher stamp duty on purchase
  6. Positive cash flow can’t be achieved (If available it would be for apartments without any capital growth)
  7. People are rentvesting (Rent in Victoria and buy cheap properties with high rental income in other states)
